This Cookie Policy describes the methods and purposes for which Safilo S.p.A., as Data Controller (hereinafter, the “Controller” or the “Company”), processes the personal data of users (“Users”) while browsing the Conformity website (the “Website”), made available to customers to enable them to download product conformity documents.

The information contained in this Cookie Policy is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the “GDPR”), as well as measures issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority and guidelines issued by European authorities.

  • request confirmation as to whether your Data are being processed and, if so, request access to information relating to that processing;

  • request the Controller to erase your Data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • request to receive the Data concerning you in a commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit them to another controller, or to obtain direct transmission from one controller to another, where technically feasible (data portability);
  • where the processing of your Data is based on consent, withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.

The Controller will act accordingly without undue delay and, in any event, no later than one month after receiving the request. This period may be extended by two months, where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests received. In such cases, within one month of receiving your request, the Controller will inform you of the extension and the reasons for it.

Finally, if you believe that the processing of your Data breaches personal data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
